Marie is the Project Manager behind the Next Generation Project. She has worked on multiple youth initiatives that target sustainable innovation and has brought a global perspective into the project’s core identity.

Björgvin is the Project Coordinator behind Next Generation City Action 2022. He comes from a design engineering background and is passionate about using innovation as a tool for positive social change.

Sara Dømler


Sara is a Project Coordinator on Next Generation CityAction 2023, where her primary responsibility is coordinating the Young Entrepreneurs track. As a design engineer, she is passionate about using design to drive sustainable transitions in society.

Chiara Farné Fratini

Innovation specialist

Chiara works with management practices and organizational forms for the transformation and innovation of infrastructures and service sectors (e.g. water, energy and waste) aimed at sustainable development, climate change adaptation and mitigation. Her theoretical work focuses on Science and Technology Studies (STS), transition theories, organizational and institutional studies.

Peter works with integrated understanding, engineering and management of urban water systems. His transdisciplinary collaborations include e.g. risks and opportunities related to innovative climate adaptation of cities and digital transition.

Maoko works with Next Generation City Action as a student intern. She uses her expertise as a design engineer to assist the teaching team in guiding you through the 3-week course and the congress both intellectually and practically. She also makes a contribution to the discussion of effective cross-cultural communication.

Gabi works with Next Generation City Action as a student intern. She is helping with developing and coordinating the Young Entrepreneur track of the program.

Balder works as a student assistant at DTU Skylab, where he uses his skills as design engineer to help us keep the gears rolling.



Jessica is the in-house graphic designer and communication specialist at DTU Skylab.
